child support that i dont owe
my exwife had a child that i did not know about and 12 years has gone by and i went to work and they started taking support out of my check i hired a lawyer to take care of it and he said he did they quit sending me letters about it and then when i filed my taxes they seized them i have never been notified about the child or a court date to appear on the matter and then i called the child suppot office to tell them they made a mistake and they told me that i was in default and say i owe 8776.00 how can they do this to me i have 4 children of my own that i take care of.and without even proving this child was mine they just start takeing our money can they do this and what are my rights and how do i fight this.she lives in tenn i now live in fl.

It sounds as though the federal income taxes were attached in addition to your wages. The attorney you hired may have only taken care of the wage garnishment, not knowing or thinking about the IRS. I would contact your previous attorney, see what he did do, what he didn't do, and what he can do now. It sounds as though there are many issues involved...
