Childs legal name change

I do not know who my sons father is, it was a one night stand. I have turned my life around and I've been married now for 7 years, and my son wants to have his name like mommy and daddy. My husband and I got married when my son was 6 months old and thinks that my husband IS his daddy. What steps do I need to take to get a name change?

It sounds like your best option is an adoption by a step-parent. That will handle the name change as well as establish parental rights/responsibilities for your husband.
