Legal Question in Family Law in Tennessee
Civil warrant
Could you please explain a civil warrant? This would involve the removal of adopted children, currently temporary, possibly permanently, due to abuse.

Re: Civil warrant
It basically is an order on a civil matter authorizing the sheriff to execute the orders of the court. It could be a contempt matter authorizing the sheriff to pick someone up and bring them before a judge for violating a civil order. Bill Stern
