Legal Question in Family Law in Tennessee

consortion

My husband is involved in 2 very large lawsuits in which incidents have occurred before our divorce is final. We are separated and settlement is pending. I was told that I had a ''right of loss of consortion'' regarding any benefit from those suits. One involves wrongful termination of a job and the other is a personal injury claim. Can you explain what ''right of loss of consortion'' is, please?
