Legal Question in Family Law in Tennessee

divorce

me and my husband have been married for a little over 2 years. we purchased a house and 2 new vehicles in the past year. i am not allowed to work so its all his income. we have 3 kids just one is his. i found out that my name is not on the deed to the house or any vehicle titles. nor am i allowed to be on his bank account. so what should i consider in a divorce? where would i stand?

In Tennessee, it does not matter whose name is on the deed or car title. If it was obtained during the marraige with marital funds, it is marital property subject to distribution in a divorce. Please contact a local family law attorney to discuss this further. Best of luck.
