when i got divorced my ex wife

asked for her maiden name back

she was granted and told to go by it now she got in legal trouble and is trying to use my last name again

is that legal

Is it legal? Probably not, but it also has no consequences for you. Get over it and forget about it. There is nothing you can do to force her to stop using your last name.
