Legal Question in Family Law in Tennessee
My divorce lawyer has not done anything in a year and a half.
I need to know what to do, I am a soldier in the Army as a miltary police officer and just got back from Afghanistan. My divorce lawyer has been employed by me for almost 2 years. For 6 months of this time I was deployed over seas, but in all this time I am still under going a divorce. Custody over my 4 yr. old has been temporarly granted to my wife, I get to see my son 24 hours a week w/o over night visitation due to me living with my roommate/girlfriend. I cant afford to get a place of my own other wise I would. I am currently paying 750.00 dollars a month to my wife for child support. Thats unbelievable. If any one could help me in this matter I would be in debted to them. Thank you,--name removed---name removed--

Re: My divorce lawyer has not done anything in a year and a half.
I note your Hermitage zip code so you're close to my office. Usually when a soldier is deployed the spouse will drag out the divorce proceeding because she benefits more by being married to a soldier then not. I don't know how your child support support got set but I'll be glasd to look at your case BUT I CAN ONLY DO IT AFTER you relieve your current attorney of his representing you.
