divorce and new will: which one in effect first

Man and woman, married 14 yrs, file for divorce, court battle for 2 yrs, compromised with an mda 12/01/06, husband died 12/15/06 before mda was finalized..... Husband changed will to completely disinherit spouse, gave everything to his brother, who gets what and how does it get sorted out.... do you go by the will or by the mda first?

I don't know what your husband's estate is worth, obviously, but you really need to contact an attorney in your area familiar with Wills and estates. Even if you are not mentioned in the Will, you have rights which you will only know about after consulting counsel. Best of luck.
