Legal Question in Family Law in Tennessee

''equitable'' father vs. biological father

My wife was preganant with another man's child when we were married. She notified him of the preganancy, but he did not stay in contact. The child is in elementary school now. I am the only father she's known. I have provided complete support of her from birth. The other man has recently been est. through paternity testing as the father, and I have been completely disregarded by the court. What, if any, legal recourse do I have to regain guardianship? Can I sue or petition the court in someway to consider my interests?

It depends. You have not provided enough information. You need to contact a a family law attorney and provide him or her additional information. I believe there is a statute directly addressing this. Good luck
