Legal Question in Family Law in Tennessee

Ex-wife took everything

I Divorced my ex about a year ago,I gave her the marital house and car.We were supposed to divide all contents of the house,I left with my clothes and guns. She sold all of my other belongings.(riding lawnmower, generator, tools, etc.)I thought it was over. Then I find out she took everything out of my retirement plan,ILLEGALLY.I had also bought some land while we were married,It was in my name only.Somehow she got the deed to the land changed and stole it right out from under me.That property was not mentioned or listed in our divorce papers. What can I do she has took everything form me and now I have nothing, and paying child support on two children, remarried supporting 3 step children.I need help! Not only what she did wrong is it not ILLEGAL? I was also sole provider for her and her children for 7 years, and paid for her childs college education.

Re: Ex-wife took everything

There are really too many issues in your question to address here. My best advice is to get a lawyer today (i.e. very soon) and do not let a year go by. There are some ways, albeit rare, to set aside a judgment and fraud happens to be one of them. Whether that applies here, I don't know. There may be other avenues for relief for you. Get a lawyer ASAP.
