help me find out if I'm divorced

I'm trying to find out if me and my ex are divorced but everything wants me to pay for that answer and I can't afford to pay anything to find that out it is really important that i find out!!!!!!

The esiest way to find out if you are divorced is to go to the Vital records Office in the state where you think the divorce took place. In TN that office is in downtown Nashville on Fifth Avenue. For a twelve dollar fee the State can search its records for your Certificate of Divorce. If you ever got divorced in TN, a Certificate of Divorce would be on file with the State.
