You will need a lawyer in Tennessee to obtain visitation rights in Tennessee. You will be obligated to pay child support, which will come from an Order of a Tennessee court but subsequently will be enforced by the child support enforcement office of your town in Florida.

To pursue visittion or custody rights, you will need a Tennessee attorney if the child has resided in Tennessee for at least six months. It is likely that any child support action would be initiated in Tennessee, then transferred to Florida and ordered through a Florida court. If you are served with papers to appear in a Florida court in a child support matter, I would not hesitate in contacting an attorney there.
