Can you give me information about emancipation in Tennessee?
I need to know what the law is (in tennessee) because my father is abusive. and i have a mother. and i also would like to know how i can get her to have custody over me.

If you are being abused, please consider calling the department of children services or the police immediately. Unfortunately, it might result in your being taken into the custody of the state/county, but you have to look out for your own safety. As for you mother getting custody, she really needs to contact an attorney.
