For the most part your rights to visit your grandchildren are dependant on what the parents wish to allow you.

There are narrow circumstances under which a grandparent can go to court to get a court order for specific, scheduled visitation. If you have a question about whether your situation would apply and you might want to go to court for an order, contact an attorney who does a good deal of domestic work.
