DCS has too much to do to just remove your grandchildren for no reason. Obviously, something happened that gave DCS grounds to remove the children. It may be tough facing reality, but you need to pose questions without missing information that essentially answers your own question.
If you are unaware of any act of negligence or abuse, then someone has phoned in a complaint about you to DCS. You can respond by petitioning to have custody of your grandchildren returned to you. I draw up these kinds of petitions for about $200. See http://michaelguth.com/prose.htm
