Legal Question in Family Law in Tennessee

Husband has Filed, I do not want the Divorce

My husband has filed for divorce, I receved the papers last week, and have 30 days to answer.

I do not want the divorce, no children involved. He filed inrec differences.

We have had husband and wife physical relations several times since receiving papers.

Someone told me this voids the complaint, true or not?

He is willing to see a counsler next Monday.

Any info would be helpful.

Thanks

An irreconcilable differences divorce must be agreed upon. In order for an "ID" divorce to occur, both parties must enter into a marital dissolution agreement. If you don't agree, no ID divorce. However he can always amend his complaint and allege other grounds, but he must affirmatively prove them at a hearing.
