Legal Question in Family Law in Tennessee

income

I am assisting my brother in Memphis,,,my sister in law refuses to get a job, she hasn't worked in YEARS. How does this effect HIS income in a divorce? What are his options? Does he need to move to another state? (I'm serious) Thanks

The issues involved a bit more complicated than can be properly expressed in a question and answer posted here. I would strongly urge your brother to consult with an attorney there in Memphis, scheduling an office appointment to discuss his situation and concerns. He will likely need to pay for an hour or so of the attorney's time for the consultation, but it will be well worth it if it helps him reach the right decision.
