Laptop Query

If a person is separated from the spouse (since 02/13/01) and they win a prize at a company-sponsored event, would that prize still be community property and the spouse would be intitled to half of the worth?

Yes, it WOULD be considered a marital asset and would be subject to division in any divorce, but that does NOT mean the other spouse would be entitled to one half. Might be half. Might be less.
