Legal Separation
Under Tennessee law, can a legal separation be filed before filing a maritial dissolution agreement? If so, what are a few of the guidelines in obtaining this?

You cannot get a "legal separation" in tennessee. You can get what is called a "bed and board" divorce which is similar but if you go to that trouble and expense, you should just go ahead and get a divorce.
