Legal Question in Family Law in Tennessee

Move out of state

I have a desire to move out of state, My ex will not agree freely. I live in TN and I am wondering what my rights are. I am looking at a quite large pay increase to do this move for myself and my current husband. Is ''life improvement'' considered a good enough reason in the courts eyes? My child is 4 and her father is current on child support and visitation with her. I have asked him to move or let me take her, he says no leave her here. I will not do that, but I hate to pay up such a great opportunity financially for my family. What do I need in order to prove its for the benefit of all my children for me to take this job?

Re: Move out of state

If you are operating under a court order or a parenting plan, review the language in that document for the court ordered procedures for moving out of state.
