Legal Question in Family Law in Tennessee

order of protection

My lawyer explained to me that O.O.P. are basicaly rubber stamped by judges, because they are so afraid to make mistakes. (especially for women) So we settled. She has violated the order sense day one of receiving it. Coming to my house, offering me sex, conversations other than about children, etc. (she doesn't want the divorce) My lawyer says just wait for divorce trial to bring this up, but I feel like he just doesn't want to waste the time/money. I feel like the typical man being shafted by the divorce laws, while she gets all the free help from getting the O.O.P. Legal Aid, food stamps, ADC, etc. Any suggestions?

YES . . . Switch lawyers. If she's violated the Order of Protection, you need to ask the Court to remove it. Don't wait to do that.
