Paternity

If a couple has joint custody of a child and

the child lives with the father, can full

custody of the child be given to the mother

if a paternity test is taken and he is not

the biological father.

Under Tennessee law if the the "father" is found not to be the father, and if the parents were not married when the child was born, then he could certainly lose his parental rights.... after all, he is not a parent.
