Legal Question in Family Law in Tennessee
Concerning retro child support...how many cases have you seen where judges believe that the father of the child just was never told of the pregnancy? In my case, the father was told and let me know very clearly, that he wanted nothing to do with us. Now that I am persuing child support he is saying he barely knew me much less had a relationship with me and that I never told him. He is making it sound like he is a victim. He has hired an attorney but I can't afford one. I know I have the truth on my side but...any suggestions?
Thank you.

You need to hire an attorney to pursue your claim. You certainly have rights and you have many legal options available to you. If he has already hired an attorney, he will likely be defending his position with ever available means.
