Son was kidnapped from me by fahter
My son's father out of the blue after never supporting my son asked for a dna test and befriended me by making me thing he wanted to keep david for the holidays. I never heard from david or my son since this day...They moved .
I asked a relative her in san diego who gave me false numbers numerous times and lies .....Their aunt told me they were in atlanta and that was false...Then i get a phone call from a social worker claiming to have my son in their custody in clarksville tenn. ....Saying he was under weight, dirty, his father tested positive for cocaine and other drugs, and there was no food,and everyone in the house was on drugs.
How do i get to my son ....How do i get him back......If i leave my job too long i get fired....I am willing to travel but where do i start....The social worker has never called me back....And i am getting threats from the father's side of the family to not respond....I tried sevral times making a police report but that failed.

Also try the FBI, which sometimes investigates interstate kidnapping cases.

First attempt to retain an attorney to represent you at the hearings. Check with the social worker about court appointed attorney to represent you if you cannot afford to hire an attorney. If all else fails contact the social worker and explain the circumstances of your child being taken from you and hidden by the father and his family. Follow this up with a written statement of the circumstances. Be sure to emphasize the fact that you want your son back and that you will not allow father to have contact with the child lacking a cout order. Do not hesitate, your immediate response is necessary to reduce the possibility of losing your child to the department of social services.
Obtaining a California court order giving you custody of your son may also be helpful.
