Legal Question in Family Law in Tennessee

Son Moving Moving In w/ His Father

17 Year old son is moving to Florida to live with his father. I was awarded custody in Fl years ago, and since moved to Tennessee. How do I transfer custody (responsibility) to his father? Is it necessary to go to court for this at his age? I want to be certain that I am not going to be liable for behavior / actions that occur outside of my knowledge & control (?). Note: 11 months until child reaches 18.

Can we mutally write an agreement in TN with notary witness to protect myself from liability? If not what step should I take. (TIA)

Do an agreed order through the Florida court that established custody.
