Legal Question in Family Law in Tennessee

not spending visitation with child

The non-custodial parent is not spending the visitation with the child, but is working instead. The child is being left with the step-parent the whole time, or friends. If the non-custodial parent is not spending the visitaion with the child, then are visits required to continue?

Re: not spending visitation with child

This depends on the parenting plan or marriage dissolution agreement or an order of the court that you are acting under. I will say that if less time is being spent with the child, you can probably seek more child support from the other parent.
