Legal Question in Family Law in Tennessee

Out of state child support case

The father of my 2 children moved to tennessee when he found out he had to pay child support (Starting Jan)- he said he dosn't have to pay cause tennessee dont abide by Florida laws (where me and the kids are)He owes 3200.00. I just need help on where to start with this? thank you s. stanley

His move to Tennessee does not mean that he does not pay child support. You would need to file a motion for contempt for his failure to pay child support.

You need enroll your Florida Order in Tennessee and have the court require the father to pay the child support by wage assisgnment.
