Legal Question in Family Law in Tennessee

Step Mother over stepping her boundaries

I am the primary custodial parent of my 10 year old daughter. Her father had a stroke and brain surgery in September 2007. He married his wife the day he went into the hospital. The stroke affected his memory and he is unable to remember details. His wife makes arrangements with me for our daughter, she filed for disability for my daughter and put herself as the representative payee. That has been corrected since I am the primary custodial parent and he has visitation every other weekend. What are my legal possibilities to prevent the step mother from making any other judgment actions for my daughter? I do not want the step mother involved in anything to do with my daughte's school. The teachers are to contact me, not her.

Re: Step Mother over stepping her boundaries

You should have your parenting plan on file with the school. They should comply with its terms.
