Legal Question in Family Law in Tennessee

i took the truck

when i left my husband i took the truck from westmoreland to cookvielle. he has filled charges on me for it. i was told by macon s.o. that he couldnt do that. he has and i have a court date for it on the 6 of next mounth. i wanted to know if he can do this and what can i do about it?

Whether he SHOULD be able to do what he has done is a different question from whether he CAN do it. He has already done it. That's a pretty good indication that he CAN do so. What should YOU do now? Hire a good criminal defense attorney. If you get the charge dismissed, and ONLY at that time, you might look at whether you can file suit against your husband, but right now that is not an issue.
