My son and his girlfriend are now

living apart. She lives in Texas, and

he lives in Tennessee. She has

mental issues. What are the

chances of my son getting custody or

at least visitation rights?

Your question is: "What are the chances of my son getting custody or at least visitation rights?" Obviously I don't know enough about the facts to answer your question. Since you are asking about TX law, I can not really tell you what the law is. In TN, Absent some unusual circumstance, he would get visitation rights, and if he were comparatively more fit, he would have a very strong argument for custody.
