Grave Plot
My grandparents brough 4 plots. After their death the plots (of which there were two left) went to their 3 remaining daughter. My one aunt was bured
in one plot. My mother has only a cpuple of months left, she wants to be burred next to her father but my aunt wont the plot to go to a one of the grandchilden. As the only living child (after my mothers death) can she stop us from burring my mother there?

Re: Grave Plot
It appears as though your aunt and your
mother are the co-owners of the remaining
burial plot. You should contact the cemetery
and determine the current price of the plot,
then offer to buy out your aunt's interest
in the plot. If your aunt refuses the offer,
you may need to consider a lawsuit in court
now before your mother dies, depending upon
how important the plot is.
