Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Tennessee
Pending Law Suits
I recieved divorce papers that involves a 16 yr old son, no parenting plan was included and the child has been injured in two separate motorcycle accidents that involve law suits against the drivers, this was not addressed in the papers served either. My son does still live with his dad and we agree on everything else, what do I do?

You really need to take the divorce papers in to an attorneys office for a consultation. Without getting into many more of the details than is possible in this type of forum, it is impossible to fully answer your question. I have assisted clients in developing and filing their own parenting plans. Can you agree on visitation and child support? If so, you have a good chance of preparing your own Parenting Plan. I charge $200 to assist in preparing the Plan that you will need to file along with your divorce papers.
