I am an American and my wife of 8 years is English. She has a green card and has worked here in the US for 9 years. We own a home. Can we sponsor her sister to come and live and work here in the US?

Your wife could be come a U.S. Citizen and then sponsor her sister for an immigrant visa. Only siblings of a U.S. Citizens can be sponsored for green cards.
