Legal Question in Immigration Law in Tennessee
Immigration assistants
What does TN law say about Immigraiton assistants? To what extent can I have a small business doing this and is there classes or a certification process? Where can I go and get this information?

You should work for an attorney if you want to be an immigration assistant. To open a small business to offer the service will be the unauthorized practice of law. In the legal community if you opened such a small business you would be called a "notario." Immigration Law as it is called involves practicing law, there are sometimes appeals to be filed, etc. I suggest working for an immigration atty.
