RE: US Code Title 17, Section 106, Paragraph 3

1. Can I sell the DVD movie I purchased at Wal-mart?

2. Can I rent the DVD movie I purchased at Wal-mart?

3. If either answer is 'no', please explain why.

You can resell the CD. You cannot rent it because that would violate the exclusive rights of the copyright owner under the U.S. Copyright Act.
