Fake Cease and Decist Orders

There was a C&D sent to administration members of Chrono Compendium over the weekend and a public record of it was posted, however there are plenty of desenting voices saying the letter posted is a fake.

Because your system does not allow me to post the actual letter, I would like to ask HOW CAN I SPOT A FAKE C&D? What sort of things should I look for as I examine this letter to tell if it is fake or not?

You can always contact who the proper producer is and ask them if it is fake....for example, if you suspect you have a fake copy of the latest Batman movie you could contact WB and ask them if your copy is a fake...of course, if you are talking about one copy I would not bother. If you plan on reselling a large number then it might be an issue...but with a single copy it might not be worth it. Hope this answers your question.
