Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Tennessee

Under ''what'' do I file to ''copyright'' a ''name''

My business name I believe is considered ''Intellectual Property''? However how do I file to protect it for use on websites etc. Is it considered a trademark or do I copyright the name or what? What form do I need to use.
