Legal Question in International Law in Tennessee

legality

i recieved a job offer to deliver packeges from a overseas company but i am not sure their creditability, i was told the packages involves textiles and such but i have not recieved them yet and today i recieved $5700 in money orders which i was told was for expenses for shipping and my expenses, does this sound legal and should i contact the police to check the packages before i take control of them? it just seems like alot of money just to ship packages

Go to a lawyer first (in your local jurisdiction) and get specific advice on the detailed facts of your situation. You could be walking into a buzz-saw if you don't have counsel already up to speed when you approach law enforcement agencies.
