Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in Tennessee
Emancipation
I was made to move in with my father whom did not have custody of me due to the death of my mother. We do not get along I am very unhappy. He is never home and I practically support myself both emotionaly and physically (finacially). I would like to proceed to get emancipated from him if at all possible. I am very serious about this and would really like a reply.

Re: Emancipation
I could prepare an emancipation petition for you for $150, but it would be cheaper if you called the juvenile court in your county, asked for the phone number of the child advocacy center, and got someone there to help you with the petition for free.
