Federal laws as to getting full pension when disabled

Georgia pacific pension sold company i worked for have pension under them became disabled in 1999 was told i couldn't draw pension until retirement age any feeral or state laws they say different? Other people have a pension

from where they worked without being retirement age left

for disbility also.

It depends upon what your plan provides. All plans are different. Even some plans offered by the same company can be different depending upon when you were first hired. I would need to review your plan documents to give you an answer. Often companies try to avoid making payments and count on pension plan participants to just go along without investigation.
