Legal Question in Employment Law in Tennessee
I feel I am being blackmailed and that my privacy has been invaded. A co-worker has recorded private conversations and a sexual encounter at work and is trying to use this info to make me resign or he will turn in the audio to H.R. I just really need to know where I stand on this situation. Should I just quit or has he done something illegal?

Take the evidence of what the co-worker is doing to the state's attorney general in your area. If it is illegal, that is your only avenue for legal recourse at this stage. Otherwise, you could go to H.R. yourself and tell them what has happened. However, the likelihood of you being terminated in that event is probably pretty high.
