final settlement after employment termination

My ex-employer refuses to pay me for unused vacation, my final expense report (for authorized business travel)and for moving expenses promised in job offer.

Hello,

If you have a clearly written employment contract that covers the things you mentioned, you may be able to recover them in small claims court. The employer may have a reason why it is not paying and I dont know what that is so I cant evualate your chances. Keep in mind, too, that employment law is bad for employees in Wisconsin and judges know that and that is a hurdle too. best wishes,

In Tennessee, if that is where your employer is located, you can recover the travel expenses and the moving expenses without much problem. The vacation time depends upon the details of that benefit and how your employer treats it. Most likely you can recover that as well.
