Legal Question in Employment Law in Tennessee

Mileage

My current employer requires that I use my vehicle for company business and they pay mileage for its use. I recently turned in my resignation to this company. They are now acting as though they will not pay me for the last month�s mileage. Is this legal?

The short answer to your question is that if the employer has built up a track record of reimbursing you this expense, you should have a good claim against them if you are not paid. This is the type of claim that may have to be pursued through general sessions court.
