overtime pay
i work for a truckline that used to be three regional companies. all have overtime after 8 hours but the southern division i work for. all these under one parent corp. now all three are joined into one company but the overtime pay has not been equaled out. is it legal for us in the south to be discriminated against?

If it is a regional discrimination, then it is unlikely that there is any illegal discrimination occurring. Illegal discrimination is that which is based upon race, color, gender, age, religion, national origin or disability. If a particular practice affects people of all races, for example, you would have a difficult time proving that it is illegal.
Additionally, although you did not provide enough facts to determine this, I would suspect that you are not entitled to overtime wages. Generally, most truck drivers are not covered by the FLSA which mandates overtime.
