Part time employees

How many hours can part time employees work per week?

In private employment, the answer is as many as the employer wants you to work. However, there may be some benefits to which you become entitled once you cross a certain threshhold number of hours. Additionally, any hours in excess of 40 during a single workweek entitle you to overtime pay.
