paycheck deductions
our company bought out in march had insurance long short term aflac etc that was taken out of checks this continued after being bought out thought we had coverage i recently found out our policy was cancelled back in april and we werent notified and payments still taken out of checks. the disability insurance was my protection in life im 50 just went thru back surgery on workers comp so no insurance co will never pick me up for disability insurance again im lost i need that income protection do i ahve any recourse

You do have recourse. If the company led you to believe that you had coverage and you did not have coverage, then they may be responsible future coverage. You should see an ERISA attorney to discuss this matter.
