It is pretty likely that your employer will have an attorney there and the very question you ask indicates that you need the advice of an attorney to guide you through this situation. One of the main issues with which you will be confronted in a mediation is what is my case worth? Unless you have experience with handling this type of issue, you won't have any realistic idea and you may settle for too little or your may demand way too much and ruin the attempt at settlement.
The downside to your case is with two weeks of lost wages, it is unlikely that humiliation and embarrassment damages are going to be that great. In light of that, you probably are not looking at a great deal of money in the mediation.
The bottom line is that you should consult with an attorney to determine the value and merit of your case before you go into a mediation.
