Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Tennessee

I was evicted from my place because of nonpayment of rent, admit that its my fault. Well yesterday I found out that the landlord was throwing my things in the dumpster. I wanted to know if I would be allowed to retrieve my things from the dumpster or would I have to have permission from the landlord to retrieve my things?

You should not trespass. Ask permission.

If denied, you can then notify the proper authorities that your personal property was stolen.
