Landlord tennant laws tenn.

I recently purchased a house. The previous owner had renters in the house and after buying it i told them i was not renewing their month/month lease and now after 2 months they still haven't left? What do i do? Do i serve a letter of eviction? letter to vacate property and if i serve a eviction letter do i need to notify the court house or do i just mail it certified mail?

I would send them a letter of eviction, tell them to be out within 30 days. If they do not comply, then you can take them to court.
