Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Tennessee

auto rental

My car was hit by a horse and carriage while parked at my place of business. The owner of the horse and carriage told me they would take care of all repairs including a rental car. I have the police report that states that this was not my fault. My question is do I have to pay anything out of my pocket for the rental car as far as a deposit or gas etc. ? Please help
